I'm setting up a motherboard with AMD's B850 chipset and want to install the correct chipset drivers. Should I download them directly from AMD, or use the drivers listed on the motherboard manufacturer's support page?

Check both pages and use the newer compatible version. The manufacturer’s support page is still the right place for motherboard-specific drivers such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, audio, and sometimes BIOS updates.
For chipset drivers, AMD’s support page is usually the best source because it typically offers the most current package. The motherboard manufacturer’s version is also valid, but it may not be updated as often.
Windows Update can cover some basics, but installing the AMD chipset package directly is a good idea for the latest power-management and platform drivers. It can also detect the chipset automatically.
