I'm running an RTX 3060, Ryzen 7 5700X, 32GB of DDR4-3200 memory, a 500GB SSD, and a 600W power supply. Marvel Rivals struggles most during fights, so I'm wondering whether I should sell the system and build a new one or upgrade specific parts. What would be the best way to improve performance?

Before buying anything, check what is actually limiting performance. What resolution, graphics settings, and FPS are you targeting? Watch your GPU and CPU usage while playing. If the GPU is at or near 100%, a graphics card upgrade will help; if the CPU is maxed out while the GPU is underused, then a CPU upgrade may be worthwhile. Your 5700X is still capable, and Marvel Rivals has had notable performance and optimization issues, especially during busy fights.
For a larger upgrade, you could keep the AM4 motherboard and move to a 5800X3D if your board supports it, then pair that with a substantially faster graphics card. A high-end GPU might also justify replacing the 600W power supply with a quality 750W or 850W unit. However, that’s probably unnecessary until you identify the bottleneck, since a 5700X and RTX 3060 shouldn’t automatically perform terribly in every situation.
I wouldn’t replace the whole PC. The platform and processor are still solid, so a stronger GPU is the more sensible first upgrade if monitoring shows the RTX 3060 is the bottleneck. Just make sure the replacement is a meaningful jump rather than another card in roughly the same performance class. Also confirm that the memory is actually running at its rated 3200MHz speed.
Even high-end systems can see dips in this game, so completely consistent high FPS may require lowering settings and using an upscaler such as DLSS.
