I purchased a 12-month Pro subscription to Programiz a few days ago to learn programming, but I've since changed career paths and no longer plan to work in tech. I previously worked as a graphic designer and have now opened a café in the Himalayas, so the subscription probably won't be useful to me. Customer support already denied my refund request. Are there any practical options for using, transferring, or otherwise getting value from the remaining subscription?

If the terms allow it, you might be able to give the remaining access to a friend or family member who wants to learn programming. Check whether subscriptions can be transferred before sharing your login, since many services prohibit account sharing.
Try contacting customer support again and clearly explain that the purchase was recent and that you won’t be using the service. Some companies have a short refund or cancellation window, although there’s no guarantee once a request has already been denied.
If transferring the account isn’t allowed, you could offer the subscription as a giveaway to someone who would genuinely use it. Just make sure you follow the service’s rules and don’t share any personal account details publicly.
You could keep it as a casual hobby. Even if you’re leaving tech professionally, learning some programming can still be useful for automating tasks, building a simple website, or exploring something new when you have free time.
