I'm having a frustrating issue with my two monitors: a standard monitor and an XP-Pen 14 Pro. They used to work perfectly fine on 'duplicate displays', but now they are stuck in 'extend these displays' mode. I've done everything I can think of – updated drivers, restarted the PC, unplugged and replugged the monitors – but every time I try to switch to duplicate mode, it just resets back to the previous setting. I suspect something is locking it in, but I can't pinpoint the cause. Any help or am I really going crazy? UPDATE: I managed to fix it! Turning the drivers on and off again did the trick. I guess I'm smarter than I thought.

You're definitely not alone in this! I spent hours trying to solve something similar yesterday. My best guess is related to an AMD driver update that occurred recently on Windows. If you're unsure which graphic driver version to roll back to, it might be best to wait for a patch from either Windows or AMD. Hang in there!
Have you checked the resolutions of both displays? They need to match for duplication to work. Also, ensure all your display cables are secure and in good condition. Rolling back drivers might help too, even if you just updated them. Let me know how it goes!
I tried those solutions, but I'm still unsure about the cables since everything worked fine before. I might get new cables if it comes down to that.
That sucks! At least I'm not going crazy. Hope they fix it soon!
