I was in the process of cancelling my Azure subscription and wanted to remove my payment card. I was prompted to delete all resources and my tenant to complete this. Since I only had one tenant associated with my account, after deleting it, I lost full access to my account. I can still log in, but it feels like I'm locked out completely. I can't open a support ticket, view deleted users, or access any account information. What should I do?

It sounds like you’ve deleted your only tenant, which means you've essentially removed your administrative access to everything. You can still log in, but without a tenant, there's no context for any of your resources or subscriptions left. The best way to resolve this is to get in touch with Microsoft support. They’ll be able to reconnect your orphaned subscription or help delete it to free up your payment details.
Yeah, deleting your only tenant definitely means you've wiped out your access. All users, roles, and resources associated with that tenant are gone, leaving you with basically a blank account. You really need to contact Microsoft directly; they're the only ones who can help you recover access or manage your subscription. Try their global support hub or look up any local numbers for your area.
Totally agree. Microsoft support is the way to go. And you might have better luck calling instead of relying on their Twitter/X support; it can sometimes be more efficient to speak with someone directly.

I can't believe that's even an option! Why would the system allow the deletion of the only tenant? It’s such a confusing situation and really frustrating. As for support, I’d recommend checking for any local numbers for Microsoft in Europe. They should have regional support available, separate from the US.
