I've heard that learning Linux is crucial, but I don't know where to begin. Can anyone suggest what I should focus on, how to learn effectively, and what resources I should use? If by "Fresh" you mean new to this, totally get it! It's okay to feel lost at first. Just remember, everyone starts somewhere!
Check out the resources page in the Linux4Noobs wiki; it has a ton of useful info! Also, searching for 'learning/research' topics there could yield great insights. And remember, taking backups regularly is essential, plus try experimenting with things in a virtual machine. Be sure to understand each command before you execute it!
Just a heads up, diving into Linux for cyber security can be tricky but it's super rewarding! Start with a secondary OS like a USB bootable version to avoid damaging your primary system. Take it slow and learn as you go!
