I'm in the process of building a productivity PC for my wife and trying to keep the total cost under $600. So far, here's what I'm considering for the components: 16GB DDR5 RAM from Patriot Viper Elite, a 1TB Samsung 990 EVO PLUS SSD, a Cooler Master Q300L V2 Micro-ATX case, an ASRock B650M Pro RS WiFi motherboard, a Thermaltake Toughpower GF2 ARGB 650W power supply, and an AMD Ryzen 5 8500G CPU. Are there any crucial components I might be missing or other suggestions you have?

You might want to save some cash by going for a cheaper RAM option, like 5600 speed. You'd get similar performance while being able to grab 32GB instead, which is great for multitasking in office apps.
Also, where are you based? If you're in the U.S., do you have a Microcenter nearby? And do you really need a dedicated GPU for what your wife does, or would an APU work?
Consider a mini PC option. They can be a great compact choice for productivity tasks. Here's one I found on Amazon that could be worth a look! [Amazon link]
