Hey everyone! I'm diving into building my first PC this year and I'm hoping to make it last about 4 to 5 years without needing major upgrades. I'm totally new to this whole scene and would appreciate your insights on whether the parts I'm considering will work well together, fit in my case, and if I'm missing anything important. Here's my planned setup:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor ($374.99 @ Amazon)
- **CPU Cooler:** Corsair iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX LCD 73.5 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($219.99 @ Amazon)
- **Motherboard:** Asus ROG STRIX B850-A GAMING WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard ($229.00 @ Amazon)
- **Memory:** Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory ($439.99 @ Newegg)
- **Storage:** Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME SSD ($389.99 @ Amazon)
- **Video Card:** Asus ROG Astral OC GeForce RTX 5080 16 GB Video Card ($1949.99 @ ASUS)
- **Case:** Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini V2 ATX Mid Tower Case ($89.99 @ Amazon)
- **Power Supply:** MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($121.90 @ Amazon)
- **Operating System:** Microsoft Windows 11 Home OEM - DVD 64-bit ($109.99 @ Newegg)
Thanks a bunch!

Your build looks solid overall! Just remember, nothing is truly future-proof. I had an i7 7700k and a 2070 Super last me about six years before I had to upgrade. But for your setup, you might want to think about a 1000W power supply just to be safe. Regarding the RAM, it's high right now, so keep an eye out for sales! Also, plug your build into PCPartPicker to double-check compatibility and fit in the case!

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll definitely check out PCPartPicker. It’s good to know about the PSU recommendation too!
