Advice Needed on Choosing a PSU for My New 5070 Setup

I recently upgraded to a new 5070 graphics card and a 1440p monitor from my old 3060 12GB and 1080p setup. My CPU is a Ryzen 5 5700X, and I have 16GB of RAM. My motherboard is an X570 Aorus Elite, along with two 500GB NVME SSDs. The issue I'm facing is with my current power supply unit (PSU); it's a VS650, which I've owned for about 5-6 years, and I've found it underwhelming. It's a non-modular bronze PSU, and I'm currently experiencing crashes when launching heavier games like God of War, while lighter games like Dota 2 and Hearthstone run fine. I've been cautious with my hardware, even undervolting my CPU and not pushing anything too hard, including my RAM speeds. Now I'm in the market for a new PSU, specifically considering the Corsair RM850M 80+ Gold ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.0. However, I'm uncertain if this PSU will have enough cable slots since I learned that the 5070 requires a dual 6-pin 12V connection. I'm feeling a bit lost and would appreciate any advice on what PSU I should be looking for that meets the needs of my 5070 and won't compromise my system's stability.

If you're not sure about the connections, you might want to look at this Cooler Master MWE Gold 850 V2. It's fully modular and has great reviews. It should meet all your requirements too, plus it's nice to have flexibility with the cables!

That Corsair RM850M is a solid choice! It's got enough connections for your GPU and other components. Just double-check the specs to ensure it has the dual 6-pin connectors you need for the 5070. Also, being 80+ Gold rated means it’s efficient, which is a plus! You shouldn't run into power issues with this PSU.
