I'm a bit confused about upgrading my graphics card. I currently have an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 770 and I've been offered a SAPPHIRE Pulse Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5. Is it possible to switch to the Radeon card? I plan to have someone else handle the installation since I'm not sure how to do it myself. Thanks for any advice! Just for context, my system specs are: Storage - 477GB, RAM - 24GB, Processor - Intel Xeon E5-2650 c4 @ 2.20GHz, and I have a 64-bit operating system. Really appreciate the help!

Yes, you should be good to go! The GTX 770 actually draws more power than the RX 580, so you’ll only need the 8-pin PCI-E connector with the new card instead of an 8 + 6. They both fit in the same slot, and should install easily in a standard case without any problems.

Definitely possible and the RX 580 should be about 70% faster! Just make sure you're not paying too much for it. Ideally, it should be under $100, but even lower would be better if you can.

Wait, did you say 240 GB RAM? Just double-check that; it seems off. And don't forget, if you're upgrading the GPU, make sure your main drive is an SSD for better performance!
