I'm looking for some advice on upgrading my CPU and motherboard. I'm planning to take my RTX 4090 GPU and DDR4 RAM with me when I move for a couple of months, and instead of bringing my entire PC, I thought I'd just get a new CPU and motherboard. Currently, I have an MSI Pro Z690-P motherboard paired with an Intel i7 12700K. I mainly game at 1440p and do some video rendering with Premiere Pro.
I don't want to go overboard with specs since I'm happy with my setup, but I've noticed that my CPU sometimes bottlenecks my GPU. It would be great to find a motherboard with more than two M.2 slots and a couple of USB-C ports. However, if there's a significant price difference, I'm okay with something similar to what I've got now. Any recommendations that offer the best value for money?

For a solid upgrade, I’d suggest looking at some AMD options as well. They usually offer great performance for gaming and rendering, and you can find motherboards with a lot of features without breaking the bank. Just make sure whatever you pick has enough M.2 slots and ports for future-proofing!
Check out this deal for a CPU and motherboard combo: it even comes with a free 240mm Corsair AIO cooler! It could save you some cash on cooling. Plus, you can get a $10 Steam credit when you buy the board. It's a fantastic value!
You might want to consider asking a friend to pick it up from the US for you. Deals like that are rare over here! Any recommendations on which CPU to grab with that combo?

Wow, that's an amazing deal! Too bad I'm in the UK; things are so much more expensive here. Just the motherboard costs a fortune!
