I recently swapped my Ryzen 5 7600X for a Ryzen 7 9700X, but now my PC refuses to boot and doesn't even show the BIOS screen. I tried reinstalling the old CPU to see if I could get it to run and update the BIOS, but now that setup won't boot either. For context, I'm using an Asus TUF Gaming B650-Plus WiFi motherboard and Kingston Fury DDR5 RAM with 32GB capacity. Does anyone have an idea what could be going wrong?

Have you tried clearing the CMOS? It can help reset any misconfigurations, especially after a CPU swap. Just put your old CPU back in before you do this, and it might get you back up and running.
First off, check the CPU socket for any bent pins. Even though the AM5 socket has pads instead of pins, it’s worth double-checking the CPU seat and that everything aligns properly. Sometimes loose connections can cause issues, especially during an upgrade.
You might also want to consider updating the BIOS, as it could be necessary for supporting newer CPUs. Just remember to provide the make and model of your motherboard if you reach out for more help.
