I received a Zoom link from my teacher because we're currently using it due to a strike. I had to reinstall Zoom after uninstalling it the day before. I scanned the link using VirusTotal, and it showed safe, but I still felt uneasy because the installer disappeared after I downloaded it. I ran Malwarebytes twice and uninstalled Zoom even though it didn't find anything. I tried installing Zoom again from the same link and scanned the installer file, which also came up safe. I'm really anxious about the possibility of a virus on my PC. The link started with us04web.zoom.us, and when I entered it, it redirected me to the Zoom website. I scanned the URL, and it was deemed safe, but I'm considering clearing my cookies. Am I overreacting, or is there a chance malware could still be lurking?

Honestly, it seems unlikely you picked up a virus from a link your teacher sent out. It’s understandable to be cautious, but if both VirusTotal and Malwarebytes are giving a thumbs up, you're probably in the clear. Maybe ask your teacher directly if they trust the link—they might have insight!
That's true, but I did read somewhere that the installer file name I got from that link was off. Some people said it wasn't the usual naming convention for Zoom installers. I am just being safe—it’s hard not to worry!
