Hey everyone! It's been a while since I built my last PC back in 2015, and I could use some advice on my current build. I'm planning to dive into 3D rendering, game design, and some editing, along with gaming, and I've opted for some high-end parts. The thing is, I'm worried I might be going overboard with the specs. Money isn't really a concern, but if I can save some without sacrificing performance, I'd love to know. I just want to check if everything is compatible or if I've overlooked something. Here's what I've got so far:
- AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16-Core Processor
- MSI MPG X870E Carbon WiFi Gaming Motherboard
- Kingston FURY Beast 64GB DDR5 RAM
- GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 Master Graphics Card
- ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 Computer Case
- MSI MPG A1250GS PCIE5 Power Supply
- ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 A-RGB CPU Cooler
- Samsung SSD 9100 PRO 4TB
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to consider DDR5-6000 CL30 RAM instead; it can offer better performance for your build.
Using PC Part Picker is a great first step! It'll help ensure all your components are compatible, so definitely check that out.

But Newegg lists the max memory speed as 5600 for your processor. Is there a reason to go beyond that since I'm not familiar with overclocking?
