Hey everyone! I've been having some weird issues with my main computer. I can't access certain sites like Steam and the EA app, which is a bummer since I wanted to play some games. I even deleted and tried to redownload those apps, but I can't even get to their websites. It's not just them though; I can't reach Reddit, Discord, or sign into my Windows account. I recently did a complete Windows reset using an installation media tool, but the problem persists. The strange part is that only this computer is affected—my other devices work fine. I decided to install antivirus software because this feels suspicious, but I can't access any antivirus websites either. Just a heads up, I tried using my phone's hotspot and the issue went away, which seems to point to a network problem. However, unplugging and replugging the router eventually fixed it. What do you all think? I'm really stressing out!

Are you sure your internet connection is solid? Sometimes it's easy to overlook basic things. If you're on WiFi, double-check that you're properly connected. Also, who manages your router? It's possible someone set some restrictions or firewall rules that might be causing this issue.
Have you tried clearing your hosts file? It's basically a DNS override that could be causing access issues. If that doesn’t work, it might be worth logging into the router to check its settings. Just wondering, do you live alone or with family? Someone might have changed something without you knowing.
When you say you’re blocked, what exactly do you mean? Are there specific error messages popping up when you try to access those sites? Also, have you tried running a scan with Windows Defender? Knowing whether you’re on Windows 10 or 11 could help too. And just to be sure, make sure your system’s clock is set correctly!
