I'm looking to buy a new PC but I'm pretty clueless about PC builds. I mainly play competitive games like CS2 and The Finals, but I also enjoy story-driven games like GOW, TLOU, and Horizon Forbidden West. Besides gaming, I'm a videographer, so I edit a lot of videos and photos using programs like After Effects, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, and Illustrator. I usually game at 1080p with a 144hz refresh rate and I'm not interested in 1440p or 4K. I'm considering a build with a Ryzen 5 7600X3D, 32GB RAM, a 2TB drive, and an RX 9070 XT. However, this setup comes to around 1700€, which is more than my budget of 1600€, ideally looking for something around 1300-1400€. Am I overspending on this build?

Honestly, that build is a bit overkill for what you need. The Ryzen 5 7600X3D is more than sufficient if you're just aiming for 144FPS. For 1080p gaming, the RX 9070 XT is also quite excessive. You might want to check out a non-X3D Ryzen CPU that has more cores for your video editing needs, which would balance better for both gaming and editing.
I do about 80% gaming and 20% editing, since most editing I handle at my job. What CPU would you suggest for that mix?
