Am I Prepared for the Practitioner Exam? Need Your Thoughts!

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice as I gear up for the Practitioner exam (CLF-C02). I've enrolled in Stephan's course, which includes practice exams. So far, I started off with the practice mode and managed to score above 60% on five tests. After studying for a couple of weeks, I tried the exam mode and hit 83% on one practice exam, but the rest I scored 60% and above. Since the passing score is 70%, I'm wondering if my scores indicate that I'm ready for the actual exam. I'm planning to take it next week due to an exam discount. Thanks in advance for any insights!

If you're consistently getting 83% on practice exams, you're likely in good shape. That’s a solid score to aim for going into the real deal!

I've got several certifications myself and I totally agree with you! Hitting those scores suggests you're on the right track.

But remember, you only hit 83% once, and the other scores were lower. Just be careful—cloud practitioner exams are more about knowing the buzzwords than tough concepts.

I plan on practicing until I can pass two new practice tests without any issues. My job has a prep course that suggests reaching 100% on all four practice exams before attempting the actual test. It’s really about memorizing concepts rather than just the exact questions since you never know what will come up. Being prepared for a mix of questions is key, especially with the time limit. I’ve heard it’s common to score around 50% on the first practice after the course.

Consistent scores in the 80s are a great indication that you'll pass. I have seven certifications, from the Cloud Practitioner all the way to the Networking Specialty cert, and I use that same standard—aiming for the 80s to feel ready!

I'd say those scores should be enough! But also check out other exam prep resources to feel even more confident. Good luck with it all!
