Hey everyone! I recently passed the AZ-900 exam and wanted to share my journey, along with some advice I'm seeking. I've been working on various Azure cloud projects, including setting up CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, deploying applications, and managing Azure VMs and NSGs. In my current job as a System Administrator, I've gained hands-on experience in troubleshooting user issues, administering Windows endpoints, automating app deployment with Microsoft Intune, and managing compliance policies. I'm thinking about applying for entry-level Cloud or DevOps Engineer positions and I'm wondering if my certification, project experience, and SysAdmin background are enough to get me interviews. What do you all think? Plus, I would appreciate any tips on how to stand out in applications and interviews!

I think you’re definitely in a good position to apply for entry-level Cloud/DevOps roles! If you’re comfortable with setting up CI/CD pipelines and have experience with Bash or PowerShell scripting, that’s a solid foundation. Just keep pushing yourself to learn; the Cloud and DevOps fields are vast, and there's always more to explore once you get your foot in the door.
Honestly, CloudOps might be a great fit for you right now. It’s a bit more targeted, and with your background in SysAdmin, it sounds like a natural next step. Dive into projects that deepen your understanding of tools like Terraform and getting familiar with YAML for CI/CD. Once you're comfortable with those, Kubernetes and Docker will be easier to tackle.
