Am I ready to offer web development services after a month of learning?

Hey everyone! I'm 17 and have been diving into web development for about a month now. I've been building projects with the help of AI and have learned a good deal. So far, I can create responsive websites with features like navigation systems, product pages with images and prices, shopping carts, order systems, login features, and more. I've also got experience with deploying websites online. My question is: Do you think I'm ready to start offering my services to local businesses, or are there more important skills I should focus on before doing that? What do you suggest I learn next to improve my chances of success? Thanks!

I think you’re on the right track! While it's a bit soon to offer services, you could start working on smaller projects or freelancing with simple tasks. Focus on learning business skills like client communication and sales techniques, as these will be just as important as coding skills.

Good point! Anyone can code, but knowing how to interact with clients makes a huge difference.

Honestly, it sounds like you might be overestimating your skills. After just a month, it's tough to get a solid grasp on everything you've listed, especially since much of it was done with AI assistance. I’d recommend you take some time to build a solid foundation without relying on AI. Try coding from scratch to truly understand how everything works. Learning to debug and secure your code is essential before taking on any clients.

I agree! Understanding the code behind what you're building is crucial, especially as you start working with client data.
