Am I really safe after using Tor to access questionable content?

I accessed some content I'm ashamed of using the Tor browser, and now I'm worried that my computer might have malware from accidental clicks or pop-ups. I used a different local user account and have BitLocker enabled on my C drive, but I can't shake this feeling that my device is compromised. I'm even considering just destroying my PC as punishment for my relapse. Can someone break it down for me like I'm 5? Is any device that accessed adult content still safe to use, or does it need to be thrown out? And how can I verify that I'm 100% secure after exploring these questionable sites?

You're probably fine. If you're concerned about malware, it's always a good idea to run a scan with a trusted antivirus program just to be safe. If you want to be extra cautious or find anything suspicious, you might consider reinstalling Windows to wipe everything clean. But don’t panic, take it step by step!

Noted, I’ll definitely run a scan. Thanks!
