Anyone else having printer issues with Windows 11?

Has anyone experienced problems with printers after recent Windows 11 updates? I've got all my printers not functioning at all, which is super frustrating. I've done some troubleshooting and can only get test printing to work, but no actual printing. The printer technician has given up, and my managed service provider has escalated the issue, but it's been a while now. Any solutions out there?

Have you checked if the new Windows Protected Print Mode feature is enabled? I've heard it can cause problems with non-IPP printers. Maybe giving that a shot could help solve your issues.

I’ll definitely look into that on Monday. Thanks for the tip!

I remember seeing a post about this issue recently that might have some solutions. Unfortunately, I just checked back, and it seems it wasn't related, but the problems seem widespread. Keep looking around for tips, some users are figuring it out!

I feel your pain! Last week was a mess trying to get stuff printed.

Yeah, it's frustrating! I noticed that my print-to-PDF option isn’t working either—seems like it’s all linked to the same glitch.

I'm dealing with the same thing for some of my users. Excel freezes up when trying to print, which is really frustrating. Definitely seems like a Microsoft issue since it just started after the updates.

We just ditched our printers completely, everything's now digital for us. It's a relief not to deal with these issues anymore!
