Anyone else having problems with ChatGPT’s memory feature?

I've been using ChatGPT (4o) for over four hours and everything seems to be running smoothly. However, I've noticed that it's not recalling or saving any memories, and it keeps saying that the memory feature is disabled for my account. I'm on a Plus subscription and not involved in any projects. The status page looks fine, but I'm concerned because about 95% of why I use ChatGPT is for the memory feature. Interestingly, my partner is not facing any issues with it. To add, my memory isn't full, so I don't think it's a capacity problem. Has anyone else experienced this issue or know how I can troubleshoot it further?

I’ve also been having some slow response times! I find myself waiting several minutes for responses, which could be tied to the server issues. Not sure if it connects directly to your memory problem, but it’s worth mentioning.

Looks like your memory took a little vacation! 😂 But seriously, I’d suggest reporting this to support; memory issues can be tricky to pin down.

Interesting take! Have you tried suggesting they add a QR code feature to link memories between sessions? That could really help with continuity, it’s a great idea!

Exactly! If they had something to tie sessions together, it would really solve a lot of these problems.

I've had a similar problem lately! It seems to happen randomly over the past couple of weeks, so it’s definitely not just you. Sometimes it works fine, and other times it doesn’t recall anything at all. Very frustrating!
