Hey everyone, I'm a Senior Frontend Software Engineer and I'm looking for insights on using Claude Code to direct or orchestrate Cursor agents. I value Cursor highly for its excellent user experience and ease of use. However, my attempts to utilize CC, especially for tasks requiring complex planning and a deep understanding of the codebase, have left me pleasantly surprised. I'm curious if anyone else has had experience with this combination?

From what I've seen, you can’t directly use CC within Cursor. But you can definitely leverage Claude models in Cursor if you hook them up with the Roo Code extension and have an Anthropic API key. This setup allows you to access various agent modes like Architect, Debug, and Orchestrator.

Actually, you can integrate Claude Code into Cursor using the IDE integration now! Check out the official docs for details on how to do that. It's a game changer if you're looking to streamline your workflow with Cursor.

Totally agree! Any tool can be adapted for Claude Code as long as you provide a clear description and model of execution. You could even link it to another LLM or agent if the setup is right!
