I recently got a high-end gaming PC with a 5080 GPU and a 9800x3d CPU, and I'm wondering if having just 4 fans is sufficient for cooling. I've noticed that my GPU temps reach the high 70s during heavy loads like ray tracing, especially in demanding games like Cyberpunk. I have some exhaust fans connected to the CPU cooler and one intake fan near the motherboard, but I've seen others with similar setups running cooler, not exceeding 65C. Considering I live in a hot area, could my fan setup be causing these high temps? Would adding more fans—specifically three more in the back—significantly improve airflow? My case is a Cyberpower PC Liam Li PRISM 321V ATX. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I took a look at the case design you're using. It sounds like you have plenty of exhaust fans but might be missing out on intake airflow. If you're only using negative pressure from the exhaust, it could be affecting cooling. Adding those three intake fans to the front could help bring in more cool air to balance things out—definitely worth a shot!
Honestly, those temps don't sound too bad. You might be overthinking it a bit. Your GPU can handle some heat, and capping FPS won't necessarily fix the temperature issue while you're gaming. Just enjoy the game!
Thanks for confirming! Yeah, I remember my dad removed some fans for noise reasons.
