Are My i9-14900KF Temperatures Too High While Gaming?

Hey everyone! I've been gaming with my i9-14900KF and noticed that it's hitting temperatures between 70 and 85 degrees Celsius. I'm using an Arctic Cooler III 360 liquid cooling system. Is this temperature range normal for this CPU, or should I be concerned?

Surprisingly, those temps are on the lower side for a new i9! I've seen some benchmarks on YouTube where the same CPU only hits around 60-65°C under gaming loads, but variations can happen based on cooling effectiveness and case airflow.

Really? I thought it should run a bit cooler too based on those tests!

Yeah, those temps are pretty normal for Intel's 14th gen K CPUs. My own 14700K with an AIO cooler gets up to 80°C under load too. Just keep in mind, my friends with x3d CPUs which only draw around 100 watts run cooler at 60-70°C, but honestly, Intel's performance can vary a lot!

Reaching 80°C with 100% usage? Sounds intense!
