I've noticed that the Azure Status page hasn't been very reliable lately. It used to confirm issues pretty quickly, but now, the last update was back in March! Since then, I've run into problems with Synapse workspaces and serverless setups, and Microsoft support confirmed those issues, yet there's no public report about it anywhere. Also, there have been widespread Entra issues and ongoing Spark pool allocation problems, none of which seem to be acknowledged on the status page. Today, I'm dealing with a confusing TCP reset error in Synapse SQL that seems to point the finger back at me. I'm trying to figure out if there's a better way to track Azure's issues, like other services or tools that might provide timely updates. Are the problems a result of aging services like Synapse or ADF, or is the entire Azure reporting system just not cutting it anymore?

Downdetector is usually pretty good for spotting outages. Just remember it’s not foolproof—if a specific service in a region goes down, Downdetector might not have that info.
Honestly, I think the Azure status page is just a static image hosted elsewhere at this point. I’ve started using Twitter for real-time updates since the status page is pretty useless now.
Yeah, the Azure status page feels like a ghost town lately. It's frustrating relying on Microsoft for timely updates. I suggest checking out third-party status feeds or even creating your own alerts. It’s absurd to think there hasn’t been any public acknowledgment for so long!
A tip I received from a Microsoft Customer Success Agent was to check the resource health in the Azure portal. Just scroll down to Help and expand it to set alerts for the resources you care about. It seems more reliable than the official status page!
