I'm getting really frustrated with the Dell Latitudes and the docking stations we've been using. It's such a hassle for users to get their monitors to work properly when they return to the office. Has anyone transitioned to using a Dell monitor with built-in docking features, like the P2425DE, instead of traditional docks? I'm curious to hear if this setup has alleviated the issues you faced with dual monitors.

The Lenovo USB-C docks (like 40AY0090US) have been stable for us. We moved away from the WD19 docks due to their high failure rates, and so far, so good! No major complaints.
I feel you! Docks have really taken a hit since going USB-C and Thunderbolt. I wish we could go back to the old port replicators; they were so much simpler to use!
Honestly, most docks just haven’t been reliable. I've used several, even from third parties like Anker, and they all seem to have the same troubles. If you find a good setup without docks, that's the dream!
We switched from Dell to HP docks and had similar issues. Sometimes monitors wouldn't turn on or Ethernet would drop out. It's hit or miss. If you try different docks, they can work fine, though.
Totally! I've experienced that too. It's a gamble with these docks.
I've had a lot of success with Anker's dock line. The 13-in-1 Laptop Docking Station has been a game changer for me! Might be worth considering.

That’s great to hear! Stability is key, especially in a workplace.
