I'm looking to build a gaming PC primarily for playing games like Minecraft, The Sims, Fortnite, Call of Duty, and Overwatch, as well as recording gameplay. Here are the components I've selected:

- **GPU**: Sapphire Pure AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB GDDR6
- **RAM**: CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL36
- **CPU + Motherboard**: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core 4.5GHz AM5 Processor paired with ASUS B850 Max Gaming WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard
- **SSD**: SAMSUNG 990 PRO SSD 1TB
- **Power Supply**: CORSAIR RM750e Fully Modular Low-Noise ATX Power Supply
- **Cooler**: NZXT Kraken Elite
- **Case**: Hyte Y70

I'm really worried because I'm way over budget (I planned for 2000 CAD, but my total is 2772 CAD). If you have suggestions on how to save some money or any tips for building, I'd greatly appreciate it!

I like your setup, but it’s definitely overpriced. If you cut back on the cooler and case, you could invest in a better CPU like the 9600X, 7600X3D, or 7800X3D which perform better in games. You might also find used DDR5 RAM locally which could save you some cash. The rest of your system looks solid though!

Thanks for sharing; I think you've got a great build! To save some money, I suggest focusing on downgrading that cooler and case. They can be swapped out later if needed, so it’s a flexible area to cut costs. As for the GPU, I think the 9060 XT should handle what you want well, but if you can swing it, upgrading to a better card would be ideal!

I think you're spending too much on that NZXT cooler and case! You could downgrade those and save around $500 without sacrificing performance. For gaming, an AMD Ryzen 5 9600X will work just as well as the 7700X and costs less. Also, consider a cheaper motherboard and RAM that's still good quality. For storage, you don’t need the 990 Pro; a budget NVMe SSD would do the trick. As for the GPU, upgrading to an RX 9070 could give you significantly better performance! Overall, I’d suggest using PCPartPicker to optimize your list and keep costs down.
