I'm planning to build my first PC because my current one struggles to run games like Minecraft with shaders and even Roblox/Fortnite on medium to high settings. Here's the list of parts I'm considering:
- **CPU**: Ryzen 5 7600X
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Aqua Elite V3 AIO
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX ATX AM5
- **Memory**: 16 GB DDR5 from my old PC
- **Storage**: 512 GB Patriot P300 NVME SSD
- **Graphics Card**: ASRock Challenger OC Radeon RX 7600 8GB
- **Case**: Montech XR ATX Mid Tower
- **PSU**: MSI MAG A650GL 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular
The total comes to about **$1232.72** Canadian dollars. As a new builder, I'm not sure if the cooler, case, and PSU are good enough. Can you let me know if this build will work well together and if I'm at risk of bottlenecking? Thanks!

You definitely don't need an AIO cooler unless you're aiming for a specific look. An air cooler would suffice unless you plan to overclock. Also, what resolution are you looking at? 1080p or 1440p?
But honestly, I just want an AIO because it looks cool, and friends say they're nice to have!
I think you might not need a full new build just yet. Your old PC has decent specs, especially with the Ryzen 5 5500X3D and DDR5 memory. Could be a GPU upgrade might do the trick. But if you're set on building, that parts list looks pretty solid for a budget. Just make sure your monitor can handle whatever resolution you're planning to game at!
I agree, upgrading the GPU could boost your performance significantly without needing a whole new setup. Maybe check the specs of your monitor too!
Every DDR5 CPU should be capable of running Minecraft easily. Even without shaders, you shouldn't see much trouble. Just check that every part is compatible when you assemble everything!
Yeah, I mean I can run Minecraft on my old setup without any performance dips. Look into possible compatibility issues, like the motherboard and RAM.
Also, don’t forget that shaders increase load, so tuning settings might help!

1080p is the main goal for now, but I might consider 1440p in the future!
