I'm thinking about building a casual gaming PC with the following specs: CPU: Ryzen 5 5500, GPU: RTX 3050 with 8GB, RAM: 32GB (2x16GB), and 1TB of storage. I mainly want to play games like Minecraft, Sims 4, Cities Skylines, and Roblox at decent graphics settings and smooth performance while keeping costs low. Should I make any changes, or is this solid? By the way, my friend is selling me the RTX 3050 for £100.

The Ryzen 5 5500 and RTX 3050 aren't the best combo for your budget. You could definitely find better options for the same price. Check out this part list I designed, which substitutes the CPU for a Ryzen 5 7500F and proposes a stronger GPU. Game performance could really brighten up with these changes, especially when running more demanding titles.

I appreciate the suggestions! I'm really trying to keep costs low while still ensuring the gaming experience is good. Just want to find the right fit without going overboard.
