I've been comparing email services because I'm getting ready to launch my app. I started with EmailJS for sending emails to users, but after looking at their pricing, I noticed a big difference compared to AWS SES: SES costs about $0.07 for every 1000 emails, while EmailJS charges around $9 for 2000 emails. Before I switch to SES, I want to know if there's a reason for this price gap. Will I run into major challenges or issues if I make the change?

EmailJS can become quite pricey; it’s closer to about $11 for a monthly plan with 2000 emails. If you decide to switch to SES, make sure you get production access set up first. There are also other alternatives out there that might not break the bank, so it’s worth considering those if SES isn't an option for you.
I got production access for SES without a hitch, so I think you’ll be fine if you apply early. Sending emails is a breeze with AWS if your infrastructure is already set up there. Just watch out, receiving emails does require some setup.
