I'm looking to upgrade my setup for 1440p gaming and would like some advice on the best price-to-performance components. Here's what I'm currently working with:

- Ryzen 5 3600 CPU
- 16GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM
- RX 5700 XT GPU
- be quiet! Pure Power 11 700W power supply
I plan to upgrade my CPU, GPU, and RAM, increasing my RAM to 32GB with the same type. For the CPU, I'm thinking about the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D, but I'd love to hear your suggestions for alternatives. I'm also deciding between the RX 6900 XT, RX 7800 XT, or RX 9060 XT for the GPU. It's crucial that I keep using my current power supply and motherboard while maximizing performance for 1440p gaming. Any advice would be hugely appreciated!

Good luck trying to find a 5700X3D at a decent price right now, they're pretty inflated. I'd suggest the Ryzen 7 5700X and the RX 7800 XT 16GB. The 5700X gives you some room for multitasking, and the 7800 XT is great for 1440p Ultra with its 16GB of VRAM. Keep your eyes peeled for the RX 7900 GRE as well; it sometimes drops to the same price point as the 7800 XT while delivering about 10% better performance, and it runs smoothly on a 700W PSU.
