Best Beginner GPU for First-Time PC Build?

Hey everyone! I'm diving into my first PC build and need some advice on choosing a good entry-level GPU. I've done some research and narrowed my options down to a couple of choices: the 3060 with 16GB for $466 CAD and the 4060 with 8GB for $419 CAD. There's also the option to go bigger with the 4070 at $799, but I'm wondering if that's overkill for someone just starting out. Any recommendations or tips would be really appreciated!

You might want to check out the 9060 XT with 16GB, which is around $500. I think it could give you a better performance than the 3060 or 4060 if you're just starting out.

I haven't considered AMD much since I'm new to this. Is Nvidia still the go-to brand for GPUs? I've seen features like ray tracing and DLSS that seem appealing, but I'm open to suggestions!
