Best Budget-Friendly Upgrade Options for My PC?

Hey everyone! I built my PC back in 2019, and with some exciting games on the horizon, especially Europa Universalis 5, I'm looking to upgrade without breaking the bank. My current setup includes an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X CPU, GTX 1660 Super GPU, 24 GB of RAM, a 1TB Samsung SSD, and an MSI B450 motherboard. My budget is pretty tight since I'm a student, but I have three upgrade paths in mind: completely upgrading my system (which would cost around €1700), upgrading to AM5 along with a high-end CPU, or sticking with AM4 and upgrading to an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D. The first option is a bit steep for me, and while the second could be viable, I would end up needing to replace more components later. The last option is the cheapest, but I'm unsure if it's worth it since I'd still be using AM4. Any advice on what would be the best route to take? Thanks and have a great day!

You might want to hold off on upgrading to AM5 if you're mainly focused on Europa Universalis 5. There's a good chance it will be released around the same time as AM6, which could save you from an early upgrade. Plus, by the time you do upgrade, you might consider building a new system completely, needing a new GPU, CPU, motherboard, and RAM anyway.
