Hey everyone, last year I built my own PC, and I discovered that one of the CPU pins was bent. Luckily, I managed to straighten it out. Everything seemed fine for the first few weeks, but now I've been experiencing these random crashes while playing games on Steam, and I can't figure out what's causing it. The error codes I keep getting are "0xc0000005" and "0xc000000d," primarily during games like RDR2, Helldivers 2, and occasionally CS2. Interestingly, I haven't had any issues with games launched from Epic Games or other platforms, which makes me wonder if it's just a coincidence since those games aren't as CPU-intensive. I always thought that a bent pin would cause immediate issues, but could it be that my CPU is working with a faulty connection? I'm starting to think I might need a replacement, but I'm really new to this and could use some insight. Here are my specs:
- GPU: Rx 6700xt
- CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
- RAM: 64GB
- Motherboard: b550-f gaming wifi II
- PSU: 700W
- Storage: 2TB
- OS: Windows 11 Pro.
Thanks in advance for any help!

If you've already replaced your hard drive and the crashes keep happening, it might be time to look into getting a new motherboard. Those random crashes could be caused by instability in the board, especially if there was an issue with the CPU pin.

Why do you believe that? Can CPUs really function while being faulty? I can't seem to find a clear answer on that.
