I'm looking to upgrade my somewhat outdated gaming setup to handle newer games better. I don't play many resource-heavy titles, but I'm experiencing lag even with the simpler games on Steam since I upgraded to a QHD monitor. For context, the most demanding games I play drop to around 30-40 FPS on medium settings, while lighter games max out at about 45 FPS. I'm not aiming for top-tier performance, but I definitely need an upgrade within a budget of about $300, or less if possible.
My current setup includes:
1. i5-10400F processor
2. 2 solid-state drives
3. 16GB of 2666 MHz RAM
4. GTX 1660 SUPER graphics card
I was considering the Intel Arc B580, but I'm unsure if that's a good choice or if my processor could be bottlenecking the performance. I'd love to hear your thoughts and any other recommendations you might have. I'm just looking for something affordable that delivers decent improvements. If I forgot anything important, please let me know. Thanks a ton!

I would recommend getting the Powercolor RX 9060 XT 16 GB Reaper for around $350. It would give you a significant boost in performance, especially for QHD gaming. It's a great choice if you're looking to see a real difference.

That card might be out of my budget in my country, unfortunately. Do you think it's worth waiting a couple of months for prices to drop, or do you feel the Arc B580 would be enough for my needs? Thanks for the suggestion!
