I'd recommend looking into the 7600X or sticking with the 9600X. Both are solid choices, and while there are Intel bundles with decent deals popping up in the US, they might not be the best for gaming. Just keep an eye on prices!
Have you thought about the 5700X3D? It's a powerful option, but I know prices are pretty steep in Australia right now. Just make sure you're comfortable with the seller if you're looking at pre-owned CPUs or unknown sites.
