I'm currently using an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor, which has been great over the past few years. I'm looking to upgrade to a better CPU but want to avoid changing my motherboard or RAM, especially with the high prices lately. My motherboard is an Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING ATX AM4. I mainly use my PC for gaming, so any recommendations would be really appreciated.

Honestly, unless you're facing a CPU bottleneck, the 5600X is still a solid chip. The best upgrade path may actually be moving to AM5 later on. Don't feel pressured to upgrade just yet!

Is that the only way I'd need to get a new motherboard and RAM too?
