Hey everyone! I'm putting together a PC for my partner, and it's primarily for light co-op gaming, like Baldur's Gate 3 and It Takes Two, along with some schoolwork and light tasks like using Microsoft Word and browsing the internet. Since she'll be using it mainly for light gaming, I wanted to keep the costs down and consider a CPU with good integrated graphics instead of getting a dedicated GPU right away. My concern is whether an integrated graphics CPU can handle these games without running into performance issues or having to play on the lowest graphics settings. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this!

Honestly, Baldur's Gate 3 and It Takes Two are quite graphically demanding. I wouldn't recommend relying solely on integrated graphics for those games. They might not deliver a satisfying gaming experience, especially since these titles can push the limits of what's possible with standard graphics. When it comes to casual gaming, it might be better to look into a more affordable CPU-GPU combo instead.
Got it, do you have any suggestions for a budget-friendly CPU-GPU combination? I'm looking to keep it under $500.
