Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on choosing a GPU for my gaming setup. I'm currently using an Intel i3 12100 processor, with an ASUS PRIME H610M motherboard, 16 GB of DDR4 3200 RAM, and a 650W bronze power supply. I sold my trusty GTX 1060 6GB a couple of years ago and now I'm ready to get back into gaming. Here are my goals: I want to play smoothly in 1080p—I'm not into competitive gaming, but I'd like the experience to be enjoyable. I don't mind if the graphics aren't ultra or even high; I'm just looking for a good time playing games like Tomb Raider, Doom, The Witcher 3, Elden Ring, and hopefully ES 6 when it comes out.

I'm considering cards available in my country, and here are a few options:
- 7600 8 GB - USD 336
- 7700 XT 12 GB - USD 468
- 9060 XT 16 GB - USD 537
- 5060 Ti 16 GB - USD 729
- 5070 12 GB - USD 811 (would need a PSU upgrade)
- 9070 XT 16 GB - USD 894 (would need a PSU upgrade)
- 5070 Ti 16 GB - USD 1317

I'm leaning towards either the 7700 XT 12 GB or the 9060 XT 16 GB. What do you all think? I'd love any input on what would give me the best value for my money!

I'd say go for the 9060 XT, considering the pricing you've shared. If AMD adds FSR4 support for the 7000 series, it should really extend its usability, but even without that, it’s a solid choice for 1080p gaming. Just keep in mind the longevity of driver support from AMD.

True, but don't forget the 7700 XT is cheaper and reportedly has better performance in some cases! It's a tough call.

I made the switch from Nvidia to the 9070 XT, and I'm thrilled with it! Runs all my games at max settings without any stutters. Plus, it's way cheaper than the 5070 Ti, so it's a no-brainer for me!

Happy to hear you're enjoying your setup! However, that 9070 XT seems quite pricey for my budget, but it's great to know it performs well!

Have you checked the prices for the 9070 (non-XT) or Intel Arc B580 in your area? Just a heads up, any of these GPUs might be bottlenecked by your CPU at 1080p. Also, what’s the pricing like for the i5 12600K or 13600K? That could be a worthwhile upgrade too.

9070 16 GB - USD 715, and the ARC B580 is about USD 355 in my place. I should consider an upgrade soon since I know my current CPU isn't the best.
