Hey everyone! I've just got a new headset, the Havit Fuxi-H3, and while it works perfectly on Windows, I'm running into issues with it on my Linux system (specifically Fedora 43). The audio only plays if the volume is cranked up to 100%, and I only get sound from the right side. If I lower it to 99%, the audio completely cuts out! I checked using alsamixer and noticed two columns (PCM and PCM 1), but the second column stays at 0, and the first one drops to 0 as soon as I lower the volume. I can manually adjust the levels, but I'd prefer not to do that every time I want to use my headphones. Any advice or fixes would be greatly appreciated! Oh, and just to add, I accidentally messed with some settings and now my speakers aren't working either, which is a bit of a disaster!

I’ve dealt with similar issues using PipeWire on Fedora. You might want to try switching to PulseAudio instead, as it can sometimes resolve these kinds of problems. It might take a little tweaking, but it could help restore your audio settings.

Not sure that’s the best advice. Switching audio servers can get complicated if you don’t know what you’re doing. Maybe there's a better way to fix the settings directly?
