Best GPU Upgrade for a Beginner PC User?

I'm looking to upgrade my 5-year-old PC, which has a Ryzen 7 2700 and 16GB of RAM. I'm starting with the graphics card and my budget is between $600 and $1000 due to fluctuating prices where I live in the Middle East. I don't expect bottlenecking to be an issue since I plan to upgrade my motherboard and CPU later on. I do 3D designs and video editing as part of my learning, and my power supply is 650W. Any recommendations?

For your use case, I would recommend looking into either an RTX 5070 Ti or an RX 9070 XT. Just keep in mind that your choice might depend on the software you typically use. If gaming is a priority, these cards should perform well!

That GPU suggestion sounds solid! But do you think I should focus on upgrading my CPU as well since I'm into productivity?

Before settling on a GPU, consider what software you're using. For example, if you're using programs like Blender or DaVinci, certain brands may perform better. You might also want to upgrade to a Ryzen 5000 series CPU and add another 16GB RAM as these could provide better overall performance first. If you go for the GPU now, aim for something like the RX 5700 or 5800 for a solid balance.

I mainly work with Blender, Solidworks, and DaVinci, but I'm just starting out. Do you think investing in a better CPU would be more beneficial than a GPU for my workload?
