Hey all, with the recent Oblivion Remaster release, I think it's finally time to upgrade my aging RX580. I'm aiming for a budget between $200 and $300 and want to make sure I get the best bang for my buck. My local Microcenter has a few options: an RX 6600 for $220, an Arc B570 for $280, and an RX 7600 for $300. I'm particularly interested in whether the higher-priced cards are worth the investment compared to the RX 6600. What do you think?

If you're planning to stick with your RX580 forever, definitely consider the used market. You can find good deals, like a used RX 6600 for around $150. For your budget, though, I’d recommend aiming for at least an RX 6750XT for around $300, if you can score a good deal on it. It's a step up and should give you better performance overall. Just keep an eye out for prices!

What’s the best place to check for used cards? Last time I looked, there were worries about cards that had been overused for mining.

I’d recommend avoiding the Intel Arc B570 if your rig isn’t up to date with newer tech. Get a used 6700 or consider saving a bit longer to go for a RX 6800 if you're lucky enough to find one—just be cautious about the used market.

If your setup is fairly new, stick with the 6700 if you can find one! The Intel B-Class GPUs don’t perform well with anything older than 10th Gen. You're rocking a 3600 CPU on a B550 motherboard, which is perfect for a 6700 upgrade without bottlenecks. It’s definitely a solid choice if your rig is built right.

Yeah, make sure your components are compatible before investing. The 6700 should handle most games without issues.
