Best Graphics Card Upgrades Under $500?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card and I'm a bit behind on the current hardware scene. I have an Intel i5 12600K, an RTX 2070 Super, and 32GB of DDR4 RAM. My main game is Squad, and with the recent update to Unreal Engine 5, my setup is handling it okay at around 55-60 FPS on low settings. I'd like to enhance that experience and enjoy the new graphics better. I have a soft budget of $500—what would you recommend for a graphics card upgrade? Thanks in advance!

If you're looking for a solid upgrade within your budget, I recommend considering the Nvidia 5070 or the AMD 9070. Both offer great performance for the price. You might also keep an eye out for a used 4070 Ti Super if you're lucky, but just be cautious about anything higher in the 40 series, as they can strain your budget.

I suggest going for a used 3060 Ti. It's a fantastic upgrade that should really enhance your gaming experience!

I've been considering that too! But I've noticed 12GB 5070s for just a bit more than the 16GB 5060s. I'm also a bit confused about AMD's current lineup. It used to be straightforward—get the best Nvidia card—but I've heard it's not that simple anymore.

Yeah, just a heads up, a 3060 Ti isn't really much of an upgrade from your 2070. It's often said that an upgrade should be from the next series down to notice a difference. So, if you’re looking for a real boost, it might be worth looking beyond that.
