Best Linux Distributions for Older Laptops

I have an older HP laptop from 2019 that's struggling with Windows 10. It has 4GB of RAM and is running quite slow. I'm planning to download a Linux distribution using a flash drive. I'm looking for something that's user-friendly since I'm only familiar with the basics of Linux and have used Fedora in the past. Any recommendations on lightweight Linux distros that would work well on my laptop?

I’d recommend going with Linux Mint. It's super user-friendly and should work just fine on your older hardware. If you're okay with exploring a bit more, you could consider Lubuntu or Fedora LXQt, as they’re lighter on resources but still familiar enough if you came from a Windows background.

Absolutely! I've been using Mint for a while and it’s just seamless.
