Best Network Monitoring Tools with a User-Friendly Interface?

Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a network traffic monitoring tool that combines style and functionality. I love the modern, intuitive interface of the Chrome DevTools Network tab, where I can easily view HTTP and HTTPS requests, including detailed headers, bodies, and timings. However, I need something that goes beyond just HTTP/S.

My goal is to monitor all network activity from various applications, including things like Discord using UDP, as well as regular HTTP fetch and XHR calls, all while keeping that slick DevTools look.

I've tried out Wireshark, which is awesome for capturing all protocols but honestly, its interface feels a bit outdated and complex compared to what I'm looking for. I've also considered HTTP Toolkit and Proxyman; both have great HTTP(S) UIs, but fall short on UDP and other protocols.

So, I'm reaching out to see if anyone knows of a tool, or maybe a combination of tools, that delivers a user experience similar to DevTools but still supports a full range of network protocols. Any insights or recommendations for tools, workflows, or setups would be super helpful! Thanks!

Wireshark is still the go-to for full protocol support, but I get what you mean about the interface. You could also look into Ettercap; it has pretty powerful features and might be worth exploring.

You might want to check out HTTP Toolkit again, even if it doesn't cover UDP, it has some great features for HTTP(S) that make life easier. Just remember, inspecting encrypted traffic isn’t as straightforward, especially from other apps. Sometimes running those apps in Chrome can be a workaround too!
