I recently got a pocket-sized 4G mobile router for internet access on my phone, and I need some help figuring out what kind of SIM card to use with it. Since it's a 4G router, I'm unsure if I should stick to a 4G SIM card or if a 5G one would work just fine. Additionally, how much data would I need if I plan to use it continuously for about 4 hours? I'm a bit lost on this topic, so any guidance would be awesome!

Any SIM card should work fine! But honestly, based on what you mentioned, I'd suggest looking for an unlimited data SIM, especially if you're streaming a lot.
Yeah, I’d go for an unlimited plan to avoid any surprises, especially if you're planning to use it heavily. Better safe than sorry!
You can totally use a 5G SIM card with your 4G router; it'll just fall back to 4G when needed. As for data usage, it really depends on what you're doing online. Streaming videos will consume a lot more data than just browsing websites.
For sure! A 5G SIM can work in your 4G router, and regarding your data needs, it hinges on your activities. Watching videos or heavy streaming will eat up a lot of data. If you're live-streaming in 4K, you'll need quite a bit more than just basic browsing would require.
Thanks for the info! I’ll be using the router mainly for a mobile camera streaming in 4K—any estimated data needs for that?!
If I plan to connect a camera for live streaming, how much data would that likely use?
