Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my rig with an MSI MAG X870E Tomahawk motherboard, and I've got a 1TB 990 Pro SSD installed for my OS. I just bought a new 4TB 990 Pro SSD that I want to use mainly for my media storage. I've got the 1TB in the top M.2 slot, but I'm unsure where to place the 4TB for the best performance. I've heard that using the wrong slot might impact efficiency, especially with the GPU and CPU lanes. Any advice on which remaining slot is optimal for my setup? Thanks for your help!

When you mention using the 4TB for media, I'm curious about what kind of media you're storing—like are they big games or other files? Anyway, since your M.2 slots support Gen4x4, it shouldn't really matter which slot you choose since they'll handle the same speeds. So, go ahead and pick a slot based on the space you have.
Mostly games like modded Skyrim (around 437GB), but also backups from phones and cameras. It's also where I store short films.
