I'm currently the only project manager at a small startup, and I've found that many project management tools seem like they offer too much for my needs. I'm looking for recommendations on straightforward tools or platforms that other solo project managers use to stay organized without feeling overwhelmed by complexity. Any suggestions?

After using various tools over the years, I've settled on monday.com. It's super easy to set up, offers both Kanban and Gantt views, and has great lightweight automations. The free plan covers most basic needs, and you can upgrade if you want more features later!
For simpler tracking, I love using Notion, especially during sprints or launches. Everything fits nicely on one page, which makes collaboration easy. When we have more bugs to track, I switch to Linear.
I've had good experiences with GitLab and Azure DevOps. They both allow you to manage epics, features, and Kanban boards without being too bloated for solo work.
I found this open-source tool called Taskosaur that might be interesting. It has AI features for automation and a natural language interface, so you can just tell it what you need. It's still in development, but the concept is cool and it could really cut down on all the clicking around.
Definitely keep an eye on it! If it hits a stable release, I might give it a shot myself.

That sounds promising! I like the idea of using natural language for tasks.
