Hey all! I'm currently a DevOps engineer with a solid grasp of Linux and Docker, but I'm still pretty green when it comes to Kubernetes. My goal is to really understand Kubernetes rather than just memorizing commands, and I'm looking to prepare for the CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) exam. I'm specifically seeking a Udemy course that starts from the basics (assuming little to no prior knowledge of Kubernetes), is hands-on and practical, aligns with the CKA exam, and is reasonably up to date. I've come across some popular options (like the CKA courses with practice tests), but I'd love to hear from anyone who has actually taken a course that they felt prepared them well. If you were starting out with Kubernetes today with the CKA exam in mind, which Udemy course would you recommend and why? Thanks a lot!

I personally used the KodeKloud course on Udemy to prepare for my CKA exam. Understanding the structure of the objects in Kubernetes made the exam feel super manageable. I'd definitely recommend it!
Just a heads up, learning Kubernetes doesn't always mean you're ready for the CKA. If you really dive deep into Kubernetes fundamentals, that knowledge usually translates well to the exam. Don't just rely on a course; interact with senior devs to get insights, too.
I think the KodeKloud subscription is a great choice! They offer hands-on labs and a variety of courses, plus a CKA course on Udemy that gives you access to their website for even more resources.
If you're open to resources outside of Udemy, I found this YouTube playlist by Piyush really helpful for grasping Kubernetes concepts. It helped me bridge gaps since I came from a Linux and container background but was new to K8s.
For a quick start, I suggest watching this video: [YouTube Link](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTHGoGUFpvE). Then try spinning up a VM and installing K3s to tinker around. It's way better than slogging through a lengthy course where you might not absorb much.
